FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a mechanized door for covering an aperture which is at least partially defined by a frame; wherein said mechanized door comprises: (A) an electrically driven mechanism for moving the front edge of the curtain between an open position (z = 1) and a closed position (z = 0) in a first direction to overlap said opening defined by said frame and in a second direction to open said opening; (B) a detector element suitable for detecting an emergency event (eI) during movement of the leading edge of the curtain; and (C) data processing unit, which is additionally provided in the mechanized door and which is programmed to activate safety function under wind action, in which the instability effect is eliminated, when strong wind initiates false detection by detector element of emergency event; wherein said wind safety function includes performing the following steps: (a) stopping the movement of the curtain in the first direction and changing the direction of movement to the second direction, and after a short period of time Δt movement in reverse direction, which is on order of 0.8–3.0 s, (b) stopping said movement in the second direction and changing the direction of movement back to the first direction towards the closed position (z = 0) of the curtain.

EFFECT: present invention proposes a solution to the problem of such doors exposed to strong winds or drafts, which can erroneously be interpreted by the detection cells as such an accidental event.
