FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a fast roll-up door for closing aperture (20); said roll-up door comprising the following components: (a) curtain (1) having two opposite and parallel lateral edges extending along a longitudinal direction, and two opposite end edges joining the lateral edges; the curtain comprising continuous bead (3b) extending parallel and adjacent to each of the two lateral edges; said continuous beads (3b) being held in guiding rails; and (b) pair of elongated guiding rails (4) suitable for interacting with continuous beads (3b) of the lateral edges of the curtain, for holding said lateral edges, and for guiding them as the curtain is being wound or unwound about a rotating axle, X1; and is characterised in that the curtain comprises a plurality of windows (8) of same geometry and evenly distributed along the line of continuous beads (3b) on the lateral edges of the curtain; and in that, the roll-up door further comprises speed detector (10) for detecting and monitoring the time sequence of passage of windows (8) through a fixed point when winding the curtain on rotating axle X1 and its unwinding from said axle and, accordingly, to determine the instantaneous speed of the curtain along guide rails (4).
EFFECT: invention concerns such roll-up doors provided with a device for detecting the instantaneous speed and position of the curtain.
