FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used for jet hydrojet cutting of various materials. Proposed method comprises application of high-pressure jet of hydroabrasive suspension on cut sheet metal material while jet head with jet nozzle is fed in preset direction. At that, oscillation of the above jet is performed in direction perpendicular to supply of jet head by means of communication to jet nozzle of oscillatory motion. Invention covers mathematical formula for determining jet oscillation frequency depending on feed rate of jet head and value of abrasive grains.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality of cutting of sheet materials.
