FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used in orthodontics. Retention orthodontic apparatus comprising two trays for upper and lower jaws made of high transparency polymer, and a wire frame located in each tray in the form of two arches corresponding to dental rows of upper jaw with palatine and vestibular sides and lower jaw from lingual and vestibular sides. After treatment, trays are configured to overlap crowns of teeth no more than 2/3 of their height, and occlusion surface along entire length is released from polymer. Trays have locating surfaces for dental location and are made in occlusal contact.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to alleviate weight of the orthodontic apparatus, to increase strength, functional efficiency and to prevent dissociation of occlusion in retention period of orthodontic treatment.
