METHOD OF TREATING AMBLYOPIA Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61F9/00 A61N2/06 A61N5/67

Abstract RU 2688024 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology. For treating amblyopia combined effect on ophthalmic and adjacent areas by light radiation and constant magnetic field with induction 20–45 mT. Combined exposure is carried out in stages, at an initial stage on an orbital area and adjoining areas influence for 3–5 min light radiation in infra-red range. Impulse radiation with pulse duration of 40–50 mcs and Rimp power is then applied. not more than 2.5 W, followed by a series of pulses in the form of a meander for t = 3–7 min with simultaneous exposure to a constant and modulated magnetic field with a magnetic field pulsation frequency of 10–15 Hz. Then, each eye is alternately exposed to a focused laser beam with a spot diameter of 0.6–1.1 mm, wherein the power of the laser radiation is set to not more than 0.05 mcW. Laser beam is exposed to focus of the laser beam on the centre of the pupil located on the visual axis of the eye connecting the centre of crystalline lens and the macula on the retina.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness and stability of the positive state of the patient's visual apparatus.
