FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out pterygopalatine ganglion block on the retinal yellow spot region on the side of injured eye before acting with argon laser beam. The block is carried out with 2 % lidocain at a dose of 1.0-1.5 mg/kg of body weight combined with xantinol at a dose of 3.0-4.5 mg/kg of body weight, trentalum at a dose of 0.2-0.3 mg/kg of body weight and aspirin in tablets at a dose of 10-15 mg/kg of body weight daily during 7-10 days. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
