FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering. Device for receiving energy from air flow, comprising support with possibility of turning entire device in wind in horizontal plane, fixed on it with vertical rotary axis, flexible wind wheel made in the form of endless belt with aerodynamic elements resting on two rotation units rotating each on its axis, at that axes of rotation nodes are fixed on the support in parallel to each other, generator. Infinite band is made in the form of rigid rectangular elements, which are metal plates of rectangular shape interconnected by axes and having square teeth on two opposite sides, made with possibility of connection with next and previous rigid rectangular elements as "stud-slot" type, aerodynamic elements have asymmetric aerodynamic profile. Each aerodynamic element is rigidly attached to the rigid rectangular element by bolts in the centre at angle of 0–45°. Rotation units represent faceted drums on the edges of which rigid rectangular elements of endless belt rest. Support is shaped metal plate, on which axes of faceted drums are fixed on back, perpendicular to support plane. Generator is located inside faceted drum, wherein fixed part of generator is fixed on support, and movable part of generator is connected to drum. Vertical rotary axle is installed by lower side on foundation.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of efficiency and safety for environment.
