FIELD: conversion of wind energy. SUBSTANCE: power supply wind unit has base, load-bearing structure made in form of tower, central unit and radial wings (telescopic or articulated wings, as version) rigidly connected with tower, aerodynamic members mounted rotatably at ends of radial wings on vertical axles (mounted symmetrically relative to horizontal plane, as version) and generator. Radial wings are located in one horizontal plane; aerodynamic members are made in form of vertical axles mounted at ends of wings and cylinders rotatably mounted on ends of wings symmetrically relative to horizontal plane. Telescopic wings have extensible parts; opposite extensible parts are linked together by means of flexible coupling; central shaft of rotor is provided with drum mounted rotatably relative to the shaft; electromagnetic clutch is arranged between drum and shaft. Rotor is provided with mechanism for changing the angle of inclination of wings and aerodynamic members; central unit is made in form of cross-piece; wings are linked with this cross-piece and with aerodynamic members by means of hinges.
