FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an emergency hydraulic connector, which comprises a connector body assembly configured to detachably connect to the hydrant for fluid medium by means of its first fastening element. Connector assembly is connected to assembly of connector assembly, which comprises second fastening element configured to selectively move in interaction with first fastening element in order to move it to fixed position for attachment of connector housing to hydrant for fluid medium. When applying external load to hydraulic connector exceeding the specified value, the first fastening element applies sufficient force to the second fastening element to force the weakened area of the second fastening element to displace, allowing the first fastening element to move into the unfolded position to allow the hydraulic connector disconnect from the hydrant. Invention covers also version of emergency hydraulic connector.
EFFECT: invention provides reliable detachment from hydrant for fluid medium with required minimum force.
