FIELD: water supply.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to water supply. Hydrant shut-off element comprises a valve stem, which is installed with possibility of axial movement, essentially along hydrant axis, and body of main valve, which can be brought into tight fit with sealing surface of hydrant. Shut-off element also comprises a damping system, which is installed between the main valve body and the valve rod or at a distance from the valve stem, or between the actuator of the valve rod and the valve rod, or in the actuator itself so that the main valve body through the damping system along the axis of the hydrant with axial damping is connected to the valve stem. Damping system comprises a compression spring and a fluid medium reservoir in which a fluid medium is stored. Fluid contains oil of specified viscosity. Hydrant comprises pipe for water lifting, inlet pipe and above described shut-off element for damping or elimination of hydraulic shocks in this hydrant.
EFFECT: ensuring elimination of severe hydraulic shocks.
