FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: device for increasing adhesion of car wheels with icy road is characterized by the fact that the driver has the possibility of using a control member to control the lifting mechanism connected to it by means of electric wires, which is mechanically connected to the electric motor. When the control element is actuated, the signal is transmitted to a lifting mechanism lowering and lifting the electric motor, as well as to the electric motor itself, thereby driving its shaft into rotary motion. On the shaft there rigidly fixed are metal chains unwound at rotation of the shaft in the direction directly between the driving wheel and the roadbed, which allows to increase the wheel engagement with the roadway.

EFFECT: increase in coupling properties of car wheels with a road cloth, improvement of indicators of mobility of a wheeled vehicle, exclusion of deterioration of a road cloth.
