FIELD: transport systems.
SUBSTANCE: railway-automobile transport system contains a railroad bed in the form of two rail lines fixed on sleepers and a vehicle moving along them. The railroad bed is laid and buried in the ground without the use of an embankment of crushed stone and asphalt. The rails are a profile of steel and have the shape of a groove and are fixed on steel sleepers of the U-shaped section. On the extreme shoulders of the rail, lamps are fixed, which are connected to the electrical conductor of the cable laid in the cavity of these shoulders. The vehicle is a production vehicle equipped with wheels with worn out tread and a tread band, which is a ring made of a reinforced elastic material, for example, polyurethane, which is fixed to the tire of the wheel on the surface of the worn out tread.
EFFECT: as a result, the resource intensity of the transport system decreases; it can be used wherever there are problems with roads, both in urban and rural areas.
