SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly dentistry, and concerns treating leptotrichia-induced infectious diseases. A method of treating oral leptotrichosis is implemented by using a complex therapy of antibacterial, antiseptic and immunomodulators. A local therapy is prescribed, wherein the "Kagocel" preparation is used as an immunomodulator in amount of 1 tablet 3 times a day, dissolved in the mouth until complete dissolution, for 7 days; as an antibacterial agent, mouthwax is rinsed with Metrogyl solution 0.5 % 3 times day 3–5 minutes after meals for 7 days; antiseptic agent is prescribed by rinsing of oral cavity with 0.1 % potassium permanganate or 1 % hydrogen peroxide solution 3–4 times day for 3 weeks and 1 week pause, course of 3 months. It is combined with rinsing mouth and throat with oil solution of Chlorophyllipt 1 teaspoon 3 times day for 14 days. Additionally, concurrent with local treatment, general therapy is prescribed, which involves oral administration of desensitising preparations of 2–3 generations 1 tablet at night for 14 days, Afobazol 10 mg 1 tablet 2 times day for 30 days.

EFFECT: reducing the number of recurrences, preventing aggravated background somatic diseases.
