SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Installation for stratified freezing and use of natural ice contains a thermally insulated reservoir, a water pump, a water supply system, a restrictive grid in the bottom part of a thermally insulated reservoir that does not allow the entire volume, the neck in the upper part, to be completely filled with ice, with a self-regulating heating tape fixed to it for tapping ice sheets, a fan installed over a thermally insulated reservoir to create a wind flow, an operational reservoir for water flowing from a thermally insulated reservoir during the formation of ice sheets until the reservoir is completely filled with ice. Operating capacity has a tap for returning water to the heat-insulated tank before the start of the new freezing period.
EFFECT: increase in the ice freezing rate, an increase in the reliability of the plant operation, and a decrease in its metal capacity are provided.
