FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for freezing and using natural cold to cool liquid products such as milk. The unit for layer-by-layer freezing and the use of natural ice when cooling milk comprises a heat-insulated tank, a water pump, a water supply system, a restrictive grid in the bottom part of the heat-insulated tank, which does not allow the entire volume to be completely filled with ice, a neck in the upper part, with a self-regulating heating tape attached to it for desoldering ice layers, a fan installed above a thermally insulated reservoir to create a wind flow, an operational tank for water flowing from the thermally insulated reservoir during the formation of ice layers until the reservoir is completely filled with ice. Before being fed into the heat exchanger-cooler, the milk passes through a carbon dioxide heat pump, consisting of a compressor, condenser, evaporator and throttle.
EFFECT: thermal energy of milk is used to heat water and the further use of this water for technical needs.
