FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to thermally non-reinforced corrosion-resistant aluminum alloys used as structural materials for structural elements, including welded ones, which work in contact with aggressive media. Aluminum-based alloy and article made from such alloy contains, wt%: manganese 0.6–1.4, magnesium 0.1–0.7, zirconium 0.03–0.15, nickel 0.001–0.12, copper to 0.2, iron to 0.3, cerium 0.001–0.1, at least one element from the group containing titanium, boron, carbon 0.001-0.15, aluminum and unavoidable impurities – the rest.
EFFECT: high corrosion resistance of articles in corrosive media while maintaining level of characteristics of strength and relative elongation in annealed state.
