FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to head-hardened alloys based on the aluminium-magnesium-silicon system, intended for application in structural elements of the petroleum and gas industry, in particular, for manufacturing drill pipes and cylindrical hollow ingots. The deformable aluminium-based alloy comprises, wt.%: magnesium 1.45 to 1.85, copper 0.5 to 1.0, silicon 0.7 to 1.2, zinc 0.25 to 0.8, manganese 0.1 to 0.5, chromium 0.1 to 0.3, iron 0.1 to 0.3, nickel 0.25-0.6, no less than one element from the group containing: titanium 0.02 to 0.12, boron 0.001 to 0.02, carbon 0.001 to 0.01, aluminium and impurities the rest, wherein the Ni/Fe content ratio is no less than 1.

EFFECT: development of a deformable aluminium alloy with high corrosion resistance, exhibiting high strength at temperatures up to 150°C, yield strength of no lower than 330 MPa, and relatively high strength at room temperature, yield strength of no lower than 370 MPa.
