FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, in particular to guard rails, and can be used in ship hulls construction and modernization. Disclosed is a guard rail consisting of rail stanchions and rigid rails, made of separate parts, the length of which does not exceed the distance between rail stanchions. Rail stanchions are connected with vessel deck and rigid runners by means of quick-detachable connections with possibility of remote disconnection.
EFFECT: hindering access to shipboard by unauthorized persons, reduced probability of pirate hijacking, which increases safety of navigation.
