FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to functionalised with azo carbonyl silanes of general formula (I) (R1)3-a(R2)aSi-RI-NH-C(O)-N = NR4. Functionalized with azocarbonyl silanes are obtained using a method in which, at the first step, hydrazine of formula H2N-NH-R4 is reacted with isocyanatosilane of general formula (R1)3-a(R2)aSi-RI-NCO and at the second step, the product obtained at the first stage is oxidised with an oxidant or at the first stage, the hydrazine of formula H2N-NH-R4 is reacted with an acyl halide of general formula Cl-C(O)-OR5, at the second step, the product obtained at the first stage is oxidised with an oxidant and at the third stage the product obtained at the second stage is reacted with aminosilane of general formula (R1)3-a(R2)aSi-RI-NH2.
EFFECT: invention improves tear resistance of silane-containing rubber.
