COKING IN A FLUIDIZED BED TO OBTAIN FUEL GAS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C10B55/10 C10G9/32 C10J3/46

Abstract RU 2688547 C2

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for coking in a fluidised bed. Coking method for conversion of heavy hydrocarbon material into products with lower boiling point at a coking plant in a fluidised bed, comprising a coking reactor in a fluidised bed and a gasifier; method involves: (i) feeding a heavy hydrocarbon feedstock into a coking zone of a coking reactor in a fluidised bed, comprising a fluidised bed of solid particles maintained at a coking temperature, to obtain a vapor-phase product comprising liquid hydrocarbons under normal conditions, while coke is deposited on solid particles; (ii) passing solid particles with coke deposited thereon directly, without an intermediate reaction vessel, into a gasifier; (iii) contacting solid particles with coke deposited therein in a gasifier with steam and an oxygen-containing gas in an atmosphere with a limited amount of oxygen at an elevated temperature for heating solid particles and forming a fuel gas product comprising carbon monoxide and hydrogen; (iv) separating partially gasified coke particles by means of a separator inside the gasifier; (v) recirculation of heated and partially gasified solid particles directly, without an intermediate reaction vessel, from the gasifier into the coking zone to supply heat to the coking zone. Coking device is also proposed in fluidized bed for conversion of heavy hydrocarbon material into products with lower boiling point and for production of fuel gas product in coking unit in fluidized bed.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of coking process.
