FIELD: testing technology. SUBSTANCE: invention specifically refers to processes of test of structural materials for strength in wide range of temperatures. In correspondence with proposed method examined specimen is loaded for bending in turn by weights of different value under normal and preset temperatures, maximum sagging of specimen in direction of load is measured and modulus of elasticity of material for tension and compression at specified temperature is found by calculation. Gear for realization of given method has loading mechanism, displacement meter, system of temperature control and devices measuring and recording temperature of specimen. Present invention makes it possible to examine metal materials for strength in wide ranges of temperatures with high accuracy of setting of value of load and measurement of large flexural strain, to reduce expenditures on testing equipment and to reduce labor input.
