FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video surveillance, specifically to technologies aimed at optimization of process of processing video data on alarm events. Device provides processing of video data by means of a real-time video surveillance system in the mode of recording alarm events and includes the following: recording unit of alarm events, made with possibility to receive alarm events; archive generation unit; a unit for calculating priorities for displaying alarm events; a unit for displaying alarm events and a unit for processing said alarm events. Disclosed also is a corresponding method of processing video data using a video surveillance system.
EFFECT: technical result is to expand the range of real-time video surveillance equipment in the alarm events recording mode, as well as to increase the speed of control of the video surveillance system.
