METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING ALARM EVENTS OCCURRING ON VEHICLE DURING CARGO TRANSPORTATION IN REAL TIME Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G08B13/00 G06K9/20 G06K9/80

Abstract RU 2748780 C1

FIELD: digital information processing.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to means of digital information processing designed for automated analysis of video data during simultaneous operation of a group of video cameras. The method of detecting alarm events that occur on a vehicle during the cargo transportation in real time includes several stages. Images of the vehicle areas are obtained from video cameras mounted along the external perimeter of the vehicle. The correct display of the zone of interest in the vehicle area captured with each of the cameras is automatically detected. Processing of shots obtained is performed, during which noise signals are removed and useful signal is isolated. Based on the useful signal obtained, checking is performed for the presence of one or several alarm events selected from a group: the presence of open process box or cargo compartment of the vehicle; the presence of a hose connected to the vehicle; the presence of tank for fuel drain or cargo transportation in the vehicle; the presence of a human in the area of the cargo compartment or process box or hatch of the vehicle. The information about detected alarm events that occur during the cargo transportation is stored and sent to the server.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of detecting alarm events on the vehicle during the cargo transportation due to expanding zones of video monitoring and analysis of the types of events that occur on the vehicle.
