FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insulators state monitoring. Disclosed is a device for monitoring the state of polymer insulators, in which as an indicator, a RFID-tag is used, which includes a flexible laminated substrate of rectangular shape, on which an antenna is fixed with a geometrical modification of bending of dipole arms in the form of a meander, and two antenna leads are connected to two strips of antenna layer arranged in the form of strips along edges of flexible laminated substrate of rectangular shape, chip by contact sites is attached to bends of antenna arms without using shunt contact, wherein main part of flexible laminated substrate of rectangular shape is fixed to polymer insulator shell with non-conductive adhesive closer to earthed part of polymer insulator structure, and both strips of antenna layer are fixed with current-conducting glue to electrodes of polymer insulators, ends of bands of antenna layer are closed and indicator takes shape of annular electrode, wherein each chip has its own code, the presence of passage of current on the chip indicates a violation of the dielectric state of the polymer insulator, which is fixed by the recording device.
EFFECT: providing marking of polymer insulators of overhead transmission line and automated monitoring of condition of insulators as per current of breakdown and leakage current.
