FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to methods for determining the breakdown by electric discharge of multi-chamber and multielectrode discharge devices. The expected result is achieved by the fact that at the moment of breakdown of the multi-chamber discharge device by an electric discharge, an electric arc created under hot air pressure burns through the chip and destroys the RFID tag, while the destroyed RFID tag will not respond to the probing signals of the reader.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the power supply system, minimizing the time to detect the operation of a multi-chamber discharge device and ensuring the effectiveness of lightning protection.
