FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wet cleaning of gases. Foam mass exchange apparatus comprises a cylindrical-shaped vertical housing, gas feed and discharge branch pipes, a cleaning fluid collector arranged in the housing lower part, gas-distributing contact device made in the form of an absorption tray, including one or more grids, wherein the raw gas supply branch pipe is made passing through the housing wall into the lower zone of the under-grid space, in which the jet filter is arranged, comprising a nozzle-type sprayer installed along the apparatus housing axis, with the cleaning fluid outlet in the form of dropping jets directed in different directions along the circumference to housing wall, and branch pipes for supplying cleaning liquid to sprayer and to grid of absorption tray, in which between absorption plate and sprayer there is an umbrella cover installed with axially symmetric gap relative to housing wall, and below the sprayer there mounted on the body wall is a diaphragm with a central axial hole located above the non-purified gas feed branch pipe.
EFFECT: high efficiency of cleaning gas and reliability of operation of foam apparatus in a wide range of volumes of supplied gas.
