FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to receiving optical radiation and a photodetector with a gate. Photodetector comprises a photosensitive element, a signal processing circuit and an optical gate mounted in front of the photosensitive element. Optical gate is made in the form of a shutter with two working positions. Device incorporates a shutter drive consisting of a current source and a bimorph element in the form of twisted fibers, one of which is conductive, the opposite ends of which are connected through a switch to the output of the current source, and the second cold fiber has a lower current conductivity compared to the first one. One end of bimorph element is cantilevered on device housing, and second one is free, wherein the shutter is fixed on the free side of the bimorph element such that in the first operating position with the current source disconnected, the shutter overlaps the aperture of the photosensitive element, and during deformation of bimorph element under action of flowing current, opened photosensitive element.
EFFECT: providing operability of the device under active and passive laser countermeasures with minimum dimensions and maximum sensitivity at low level of signals.
