SUBSTANCE: present application relates to a steam device comprising a steam chamber having a steam generating surface on which liquid water is supplied to be converted into steam. Steam device additionally comprises a fabric treatment plate containing a fabric treatment surface and at least one steam outlet opening through which steam enters the fabric to be steam treated. Steam device additionally contains a part for the outlet flow located between the steam generating surface and the fabric treatment surface. Outlet flow part forms an indirect flow path between the steam chamber and at least one steam outlet opening. Steam device additionally comprises a heater for heating of the outlet flow part, so that liquid water that passes into the steam flow outlet part is converted into steam. Outlet flow part comprises at least one boundary surface with multiple recesses to reduce the flow rate of liquid water moving through the outlet flow part.

EFFECT: present invention provides generation of more steam than known steam devices.
