FIELD: motors and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel supply systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Disclosed is fuel valve (50) for injecting gaseous fuel into an ICE combustion chamber with turbo-supercharge and compression ignition. Fuel valve (50) comprises elongated valve body (52), nozzle (54) connected to body (52) and including main opening (55) and multiple nozzle openings (56). Fuel valve comprises inlet opening for fuel (53) for connection to source of gaseous fuel, axially movable needle (61) of valve, made with possibility of sliding in longitudinal hole (77) in valve body (52) and drive system for control of needle movement (61) of the valve. Seat (69) of valve needle (61) is located between fuel chamber (58) and outlet opening (68) on front end face of elongated valve body (52). Fuel chamber (58) is connected to fuel inlet opening (53). Fuel valve comprises inlet hole for sealing oil (78) with seal oil supply channel (76), inlet opening for ignition fluid (47) and ignition fluid feed channel (45) extending from inlet hole for ignition fluid (46) into chamber (58) or in gap in second position (P2) along the length of axial opening (77).
EFFECT: disclosed fuel valve and method of injecting gaseous fuel into combustion chamber of large two-stroke internal combustion engine with turbocharging with compression ignition.
