FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method of producing product fraction of helium (6) from nitrogen and helium-containing raw material fraction (3). Raw material fraction (3) containing nitrogen and helium is partially condensed (E1), separated into the first helium-rich fraction (5) and the first nitrogen-enriched fraction (8) and the first of them is subjected to additional adsorption purification. Separation is carried out in rectification column (T), on which first nitrogen-enriched fraction (8) is fed as reflux, and partial flow of second nitrogen-rich fraction is fed as stripping gas (12). Amount of stripping gas (12) is set so that in rectification column (T) it is possible to produce the third nitrogen-enriched fraction (20), which contains at least 30 % of nitrogen contained in the first fraction enriched with nitrogen (8).
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in improvement of thermodynamic efficiency of the process.
