SUBSTANCE: multifocal diffractive ophthalmic lens comprises a base optic for changing the refractive power of the user's eye, diffraction element on at least one of front and rear surface, providing at least one of refracting force for far vision and refracting force for near vision. Basic optics is configured to form negative spherical aberration (SA) for refracting force for far vision, and the diffractive element is configured to form a positive spherical aberration for the refractive force for near vision.

EFFECT: technical result is increased depth of field of presbyopic and pseudofakic vision with reduced visibility of defocused part of image on retina.
