CONSTRUCTION OF MULTIFOCAL LENS AND METHOD OF PREVENTION AND/OR SLOWING PROGRESSION OF MYOPIA Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G02C7/06 G02C7/04 G02B3/10 A61F2/14

Abstract RU 2671544 C2

FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: multifocal ophthalmic lens comprises an optical zone comprising at least one first zone with an optical force satisfying a patient's refractive need; and at least one second zone with an optical power greater than the optical power of the first zone. First and second zones contain concentrically arranged distance rings alternating with addition rings. Remote rings and additive rings have an optical strength, given by the expressions in the formula of the invention.

EFFECT: technical result is the correction of foveal vision, increasing the depth of field and improving an image on retina in a range of accommodation distances, decrease in sensitivity to image blurring under visual strain, thereby preventing and/or slowing the progression of myopia.
