SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control device comprising movable unit (6) driven relative to housing (7) and equipped with at least one control gauge (14, 15); measurement system (30) comprising a non-contact optical beam (F) receiving-to-receive system (30a), on the path of which target (30b) is mounted, fixed at the first reference pass, wherein radiation-reception system is installed fixedly on housing and continuously outputs measurements of position of first control gauge relative to housing (7); processing unit (31) comprises detection means, which determine occurrence of contact of the first control gauge with the vessel, when measurements of the position of the first reference gauge, issued by radiation-reception system (30a), no longer change.
EFFECT: technical result when implementing proposed solution is speeding up the process of controlling rim and neck of the vessel and determining the type of detected defect, as well as high strength and accuracy.
