FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of checking hollow objects or reservoirs in a wide sense, such as bottles, jars, vials, in particular, from glass, in order to detect defects of size or surface of reservoirs. The proposed device to check rims and necks of reservoirs (2) comprises a movable part (6), driven by a driving system (9) into reciprocal motion relative to a frame (7) in direction of movement, parallel to the axis of symmetry of reservoirs, besides, the movable part is equipped with an outer gauge (14) to control the outer part of the rim of reservoirs and an inner gauge (15) to control the inner part of the rim and neck of reservoirs, at the same time it comprises: a system (30) to measure position of the movable part (6) relative to the frame in direction of movement, besides, results of measurements of movable part position are transmitted to a data processing unit (31), a system (35) to detect contact between the inner gauge (15) and the reservoir (2) in process of movable part (6) movement, besides, data of contact appearance is transmitted to the data processing unit (31), a system (37) to detect appearance of contact between the outer gauge (14) and the reservoir (2) in process of movable part movement, besides, data of contact appearance is transmitted to the data processing unit (31), and the data processing unit (31) to detect on the basis of results of measurement of movable part (6) position and data on contact appearance between gauges (14, 15) and the reservoir (2) compliance of rims and/or necks with requirements of size, and also types of defects for reservoirs, not complying with requirements by size.
EFFECT: provision of a device for checking, making it possible to check a rim and a neck of a reservoir with high speed or frequency to monitor their compliance with requirements by size and detect type of detected defects, at the same time there is accurate detection of compliance of the rim and neck with requirements of size, which makes it possible to detect the type of defect among the following defects, namely, a defect of inner diameter of a neck, when it is smaller than the minimum permissible diameter (defect, called a corking defect or a cork or a shaft defect), a defect of neck head diameter being smaller than the minimum permissible diameter (defect called a neck head defect), a defect of neck head diameter being larger than the maximum permissible diameter (defect called a neck head defect), a defect of height more than maximum permissible, a defect of height less than minimum permissible, a defect of the outer diameter less than the permissible minimum, a defect of the outer diameter more than the permissible maximum.
