FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive workbenches. Workbench is made in vehicle body and comprises worktop mounted on carcass. Worktop is installed on a frame containing two lateral frames connected by U-shaped crossbars, between which there is a side intermediate U-shaped post. Between said frames and U-shaped poles installed in the middle part of the frame, there are welded middle U-shaped longitudinal beams dividing the frame into two parts, and in middle and lower parts are welded angles with bolts fixed on them with shelves, and in the front part of the frame in upper and lower U-shaped longitudinal beams there are holes, into which L-shaped rods of upper and lower grids welded into U-shaped profile are installed by bent part, and to bent portions of L-shaped rods on the inner side of upper and lower U-shaped longitudinal beams, a rod is welded, by means of which the grids are converted into an open or closed position on guides installed in upper part of the frame between longitudinal beams for upper grids, and in lower part of frame - for lower grids, and in holes in front middle U-shaped longitudinal beams there installed are handles for fixation of upper and lower grids in closed position, consisting of spring-loaded in axle sleeves, fixed by means of cotter pins and having flat flags outside.

EFFECT: technical result consists in stability of structure, absence of sliding and falling tool and spare parts.
