SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chiral S-mono-perpenyl-cysteines of following structural formula (C), which have membrane-protective and antioxidant activity, and can also be used in organic synthesis to produce biologically active substances and in the pharmaceutical industry as intermediates in the drug synthesis. In formula (C), R1-6 have the values indicated below, wherein asterisks denoting the bond through which the compound of formula (C) is attached to the sulfanyl group.
