FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of organic nitro compounds, specifically to a method of producing nitroesters of general formula R(ONO2)n, where n = 1–3, R is a mono-, di- or trivalent hydrocarbon radical C3-C8, or a bivalent radical containing one or more oxygen atoms in the carbon chain, by reacting corresponding alcohols with a nitrogen-containing (V) nitrating agent in a flow-type reactor at room temperature in liquefied 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (TFE) medium with subsequent treatment of the reaction mass with aqueous sodium hydroxide solution and the process is carried out in molar ratio of initial alcohol: nitrogen oxide (V): sodium hydroxide 1:1–3.6:1–3.4 with residence time of the reaction mass in reactor from 4 to 100 s and pressure from 0.8 to 1.0 MPa.
EFFECT: technical result achieved when implementing the disclosed method of producing nitroesters is to increase specific efficiency of the process.
