FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, metallurgical, chemical and other industries, particularly coal mining, and can be used for dust suppression and reduction of dust transfer in coal production. To achieve technical result, disclosed is wetting agent for coal dust suppression, containing oleic acid, sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), linseed oil and water, with the following ratio of components, wt. %: oleic acid 0.8–1.0; sodium hydroxide 0.4–0.6; linseed oil – 0.3–0.6; water – balance. Proposed composition is fairly simple, all its components do not harm the environment and human health and do not affect the main characteristics of coal raw material for further use, which indicates promising composition of wetting agent for suppression of coal dust, as well as wider range of equipment.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of wetting agent efficiency for coal dust suppression due to prolonged effective action of foam composition, improving wettability of the surface of coal dust particles, as well as in connection with possibility of gluing coal particles for strong fixation of dusty surfaces due to affinity of polarity of flax oil and coal particles and ability of linseed oil to polymerise in the light.
