FIELD: mining industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for fixing dusty surfaces of open warehouses in places of mining and storage of minerals, in particular coal. The composition comprises water, at least one organic substance dissolved in it, which has a high adhesive ability in aqueous solutions, which is used as a polysaccharide of plant origin – guar gum in a concentration of 0.2 to 1% – or microbiological origin – xanthan gum in a concentration from 0.1 to 1%, as well as an insoluble mineral fraction comprising mainly particles with a size of not more than 150 microns, with the formation of a suspension, which is used as dust from a place of storage or extraction of mineral minerals in an amount of from 0.5 to 4% of the mass of the solution, and when using water with high salinity and/or acidity/alkalinity, the composition additionally comprises a substance with complexing and/or buffering properties.

EFFECT: increasing consumer properties by reducing water consumption and the content of residual moisture in the surface protected from dusting.
