SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for filtration and concerns smart filter for household devices, in particular, drying / washing-drying machines, for separation of solid particles from gaseous fluids or gases. Smart filter is made of synthetic monofibre precision woven material, having main weft weaving, in which there is a built-in or on it sensor, formed in the form of current-conducting capacitive circuit, capable to measure in real time amount of moisture contained in air flow passing through said woven material. Current-conducting circuit has a flat configuration and includes first and second rectilinear conducting paths located at a distance from each other and substantially being two plates of the capacitor, and from each of them the first and second plurality of rectilinear, parallel and spaced apart conducting conductors protrude respectively so that protrusions of the first plurality are located between projections of the second set. A smart filter fabrication method is described. Method for real-time detection of partial and / or complete clogging of smart filter consists in that includes construction of average calibration curve of said domestic appliance, real-time measurement of the actual moisture content in the air flow passing through the filter, real-time comparison of the measured amount of moisture content, which is an indicator of the degree of filter clogging, with the calibration curve and the alarm signal, if specified value of moisture content exceeds preset critical value, and only if critical value is achieved, cleaning filter structure. Drying and / or drying-washing machine comprises smart filter connected to processor input of processing, comparison and alarm devices, which realize method of determining partial or complete filter clogging.
