SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transporting devices. Transporting device for lifting/lowering of containers is equipped with rod-shaped gripping lifting/lowering parts (45a-46b) elongated in direction of lifting/lowering. Gripping elements are horizontally built into corners of container and disconnected from them. Also comprises supporting lifting/lowering elements (65A and 65B), in which support devices (76a and 76b) protruding towards two parallel side surfaces of container, are installed on rod-like main elements (66) elongated in direction of lifting/lowering and capable of approaching two parallel side surfaces of container and moving away from them. When support devices (76a and 76b) approach two parallel side surfaces of container, support devices (76a and 76b) are inserted under flange section (F1) on two parallel side surfaces of container. When rod-like main elements (66) rise, support devices (76a and 76b) lift container (C) by means of flange section (F1).
