SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation of containers. Transporting device for lifting/lowering of containers includes four gripping lifting/lowering parts capable of horizontally aligning with four corners of container (C) for transportation of items and disconnection from them. On the plan view the central lifting/lowering connection elements capable to rise and fall are located in the central points of the corresponding sides of the rectangular parallelogram surrounded by four gripping lifting/lowering parts. Each of central lifting/lowering connection elements and gripping lifting/lowering parts on both sides of them is connected to each other by at least one pair of upper and lower swinging links capable of swinging in vertical direction.

EFFECT: efficient use of device for operations for storage/retrieval of containers in warehousing intended for containers of different planar sizes.
