FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of protecting a vehicle. Messages sent by telematic electronic key are intercepted by means of gateway (112), which physically separates telematic electronic key from data bus (110) of vehicle (102). When gateway (112) is in field state, messages sent by telematic electronic switch to data bus (110) of vehicle (102) are blocked, which include requests of the first type. In response to transition of gateway (112) to state of the field, messages sent via telematic electronic switch to data bus (110) of vehicle (102), which include requests of the first type and requests of the second type, are blocked for a certain period of time. Disclosed also is system for vehicle protection.
EFFECT: protection of vehicle gateway network is achieved.
