FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering, namely to use of wind energy to produce mechanical energy. Wind power plant includes pump with pistons and chambers, which have inlet and outlet valves connected to feed and pressure lines. Shaft is fixed in upper and lower support sleeves with bearings. Lower support sleeve is connected to the surface of the support, and the upper one is connected to the structural unit ensuring the vertical position of the shaft. Wind wheel is fixed on shaft top part while rectangular prism with even number of sides is symmetrically fitted on the shaft, to each side of which there is a power unit made in the form of movable membrane and pump. Opposite membranes are connected in pairs by rods. Inlet and outlet valves of pumps are connected to pressure and supply lines. In the pump chamber opposite the piston there is a limit switch which fixes the piston contact with the opposite wall of the pump chamber. On the installation shaft under the prism there is a rigidly fixed brake disk with number of step-by-step holes equal to the number of sides of the prism. Controlled brake consisting of a solenoid, a spring and a brake cylindrical rod with a contact roller on the upper end is installed under the disc on the support in the brake cup.
EFFECT: invention can be used in the absence of reliable power supply and as an emergency reserve for lifting water into water towers, for irrigation in agriculture, for operation with pneumatic and hydraulic tools and devices.
