FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to chemical processing of cellulose, specifically to the creation of new cellulose nanosized materials, products based on said cellulose and methods for production thereof. Method of producing hydrosol of nanocrystalline cellulose in the form of an aqueous dispersion includes catalytic solvolysis of cellulose material, which is regenerated cellulose of polymorph variant II, in a mixture of acetic, octanol-1 and phosphoric-tungstic acid, obtaining and purifying an aqueous dispersion of nanocrystalline cellulose, wherein phosphoric-tungstic acid is taken in amount of 0.4–0.5 % of molar relative to the anhydroglucose unit of cellulose, process of processing cellulose is carried out at boiling point of mixture for 60 minutes with addition of solution of hydrogen peroxide at rate of 0.01 % of volume of reaction mixture per minute. Disclosed method can be used in producing NCC hydrochloride and cellulose nanoparticles.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain NCC characterized by a disc-shaped form, having high aggregative stability with preservation of dispersion stability during storage for more than 6 months at temperature of 2–6 °C.
