FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid vehicles. Vehicle power plant control system with hybrid drive including engine and at least three electric motors, differential mechanism and output unit outputting power to drive wheels. Proposed system comprises controller to determine operating state of vehicle and to control first motor and second motor to generate torque in the same direction as engine torque to drive vehicle in forward direction. Controller also controls the third electric motor so that torque is generated in the forward direction to drive the vehicle together with the engine torque when it is determined that the vehicle is driven by the engine.
EFFECT: improved performance of the vehicle.
