FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: hybrid vehicle includes an engine; the first and the second motor; a gear mechanism; a mechanism of supplying oil to the gear mechanism and an electronic control unit. The gear mechanism is a planetary gear mechanism including a sun gear, a ring gear and a carrier, to which the torque, output from the engine, is transmitted. The first motor is connected to one of: a sun gear and a ring gear. The second motor is connected to the output link. The brake mechanism selectively stops the carrier rotation. Upon actuating the hybrid vehicle, the electronic control unit is configured to assess the oil amount, which is supplied from the oil supplying mechanism to the planetary gear mechanism. When the calculated amount of the supplied oil is less or equal to the predetermined amount, the first motor operation is limited so that the load on the planetary gear mechanism is decreased.

EFFECT: service life of the gear mechanism is increased.
