FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and is used in construction of shells of shallow foundations for buildings of mainly medium and high number of storeys on soil bases underlain by thickness of weak water-saturated silty-clayey soils. Small-shell band-shell foundation includes buried support loops along load-bearing axes of the building, crescent-shaped solid reinforced concrete shell in the span zone. Foundation is equipped with soil-cement blocks and damping gasket. Soil-cement blocks are installed in the subsheat space in the span zone and have compression strength less than strength of the crescent-shaped solid reinforced concrete shell, but it is more than strength for soil compression. Damping gasket is located between the supporting circuits and the ground base and is made of plate strongly compressible material.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of use of shell foundations of shallow location, rational device of subsurface space from prefabricated soil-cement blocks and possibility of control of reinforced concrete enclosure operation due to more efficient interaction of "support contour-shell-soil base" system.
