FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: use: to determine the size of magnetic nanoparticles. Summary of invention consists in the fact that colloidal solutions of nanoparticles with different concentration C of the stabilizing substance are prepared, placed in a magnetic field, magnetization is measured by nuclear magnetic resonance at different instants after preparation or agitation of the solution and two concentrations (C1 and C2), at which the magnetization reduction rate has minima. Size of magnetic nanoparticles D is determined by formula D = d(3-X)/(X-1), where d is size of stabilizer molecule, X = [(C2/ C1)-l]0.5.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling determination of full size of magnetic nanoparticles in colloidal solution.
