FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to beneficiation of minerals by flotation and can be used in non-ferrous, ferrous metallurgy and other industries in flotation concentration of ores. Flotation classifier includes a cylindrical chamber with a lower conical part and an upper part in the form of a truncated cone with a tangential branch pipe for supply of initial feed located outside the cylindrical part. In the lower part of the chamber there is a sand unloader and an open-topped cylindrical drain collector with an inclined drain branch pipe and a pulp level controller is installed inside the chamber coaxially with it. Aerators are installed in space between walls of chamber and cylindrical collector of drain. Chambers of converging chutes with horizontal upper edge and cutouts in lower narrow part for discharge of upper product are installed on truncated cone surface, are equipped in lower narrow part with lower product outlet controllers and connected to branch pipes for bottom product removal. Annular foam-collecting chute with branch pipe for removal of upper product of converging chutes is installed outside the chamber. Bottoms of convergent chutes are made in the form of pneumatic aerators above which electrochemical aerators are installed in the form of anodes and cathodes connected to direct-current source.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of floatation concentration.
